In the late eighties, Malta was awakened a numerous amount of youth groups experiencing the love of Jesus in a new way and discovering His personal care. Spirit-filled groups met weekly to share the teachings of the Holy Bible and live a more active Church life. Being part of the Catholic Church, this new Spirit-filled experience was truly astonishing backed up by amazing conversions, signs and wonders and manifestations of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

The new life in the Spirit was not just a local experience, but a global one. Spirit-filled music with Christian lyrics was shared by many churches and trancended differences in cluture or religious denomination. Contemporary Christian and ‘Praise’ music started gaining momentum as new artists emerged, some with very high quality and refined works.

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation, he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
